Update on Back Pain

This past Thursday, I decided not to take any meds or supplements for pain. I went outside and walked, laps on my driveway. After I walked, I felt my pain go from a 7 to a 3! I was shocked! I rested. Then I walked some more. This was no marathon. It was a slow paced, easy walk but repeated trips over the day. I went to bed, my range of motion went from 75 to 85%! I could bend over, not straight over, touch my toes bending (that hasn’t occurred since my back went out in Texas) but if I dropped something I could slowly get to it! How amazing is it to say all of this knowing or understanding how simple each of these things mean. We truly don’t miss something until we don’t have it! Anyway, Friday, I got out between rain showers, walking. I actually felt impressed that I could handle a chiropractic appointment. So, today I went to the chiropractor and IT WAS WONDERFUL! I’m sore but it’s because the adjustment is like going to the gym working on muscles. The sore is like that. Sore is not like the pain I had. I am thrilled to feel that I may actually be seeing some light. If you’ve prayed for me, thank you! I will share that we have been doing communion since Thursday also. I do take the power of Jesus seriously! ❤️
