Covid 5 day Quarantine

Three days intubation, that still doesn’t tell me how or where I got Covid. It was my birthday. I KNOW that was NOT my gift! Today is day 5 of quarantine and I’m symptom free. I go get a test later so I am able to go back to work. I’ve missed 3 days…OUCH! I picked up one for this week.
I can’t imagine having “long Covid”. Symptoms like fatigue, muscle weakness, that mimic Chronic Fatigue and are attached to low cortisol levels.
Hippocrates, The Father of Medicine said, “Let food by thy medicine.” Food at that time was unprocessed, fresh, vegetables, fruits, lean cuts of meats…and, guess what, THAT HAS NOT CHANGED!!!!! Humans do not like change, do not accept that foods matter in healthcare, or responsibility. But, without the three, we will be a sick nation. The stats from every study show America is top of the list for Covid deaths. Let’s get real, science has fresh food lists showing the vital nutrients of fresh foods. Nutrients being the amount of vitamins and minerals packed in produce, like broccoli, spinach, blueberries, etc.
Let’s go over my lists of wellness, once more (these things I have taught for 30 years and spoken of in this, the 172nd blog, I have written);
Rest! Get 8 hours of sleep at night and take time during the day to sit, quietly, meditating, praying, being still.
Hydrate. Water is vital to health. Drink it!
Eat fresh produce daily, three plus times a day. Mix up the produce.
Supplements are ok but food is “ok-er!”
Walk. Get outside even in rain (ok, maybe not thunder and lightening).
Play. Not video games but outdoors.
Laugh, at yourself, with others, humor is good.
Again, when Covid started, I took Olive Leaf extract. During this infection, I added Sinus Support and Xylitol nose spray. I always use probiotics but take a lot more for sick days. I drank Kombucha, ate Greek full fat yogurt, and got electrolytes.
If you eat three meals a day but do not poop, you are sick! Pooping is critical to wellness! The sick people I see in the hospital, when I ask, “when was the last time you pooped?” and they have to think and typically respond, I don’t remember but I don’t poop everyday…this makes me cringe! Poop people!!!!!! You have to eliminate the old or you are sick! Seriously!
Here’s to a life of wellness. If Covid has proven one thing to me, lifestyle choices do matter!🍎🍐🍊🍉🍍🥑🥭🥬🥦🥂
