Triphala food for Gut Health

This Ayurvedic plant has many benefits. I will focus on the gut health it provides in this post. It has been researched and found to be beneficial in digestion, absorption, elimination and rejuvenation. Polyphenols in the herb have been found to promote the growth of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus while also inhibiting the growth of undesirable bacteria, such as Candida just to name one. Other benefits found from this herb are reduction in cholesterol, blood glucose and hyper acidity. Contraindications are diabetic and heart medications.
