New Mindful Awareness

Hmmmm, I’ve been reading research showing that the “awakening to mindfulness“ is actually causing harm to 1/3 of those practicing it. Basically, mindfulness, is meditation that is taught in yoga. So, for those who read my short writings here, let me give a comparison. About 1/3 maybe more of people claiming Christianity struggle with depression and anxiety. What then is the key here? If meditation based in yoga and Christianity based in Jesus aren’t working...the same problem is humanity. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying depression and anxiety aren’t real! They are emotions like happiness and fear! How then do we “fix” our emotions. Seeking psych help for these is just as critical as seeking medical help for cancer. I think there is a very deep issue here for all humans. WHAT is our FAITH really placed in? Going through my own mental darkness, put me in a very vulnerable place. I had to face many fears, truths, and let go of many wrong thoughts. I would say that in the lingo of Christianity, I am ”being saved” every moment I live! Jesus saved me the minute I declared faith in him. The beauty of Jesus, he spends the rest of my life with me, assisting me, encouraging me, loving me and even sending humans to help me! If you face suicidal thoughts, please talk with me!!! Don’t do life alone! We were created to be together!
