This seems to be the latest ”new cure all”. When I was learning about vitamins and minerals in 1997, I was shocked to learn they aren’t just a trademark name, Flintstones! When I began to truly garner some knowledge, I was shocked that my FOODs are vitamins and minerals! That stuff we shove in our faces, should hold value! It really is about feeding the body NUTRITION! What a shock! I think many today are still unaware and eat whatever they crave while shoving bottles of supplements in their face thinking that’s the cure all. B A L A N C E the key word! Making the best food choices. Drinking the correct amount of water and electrolytes. These should be the FIRST choices, and supplements are exactly that! Something that completes or enhances another. So, as Hippocrates said, “Let food be thy first medicine.” Magnesium is found in these food sources; greens, nuts, seeds, dry beans, whole grains, wheat snd oat bran. My suggestion here, if gluten is an issue, focus on greens and nuts. If inflammation of the bowel is an issue, focus on greens and beans. If digestion or elimination is a concern, THEN supplement. Magnesium citrate is the easiest to absorb by the body. Magnesium can cause diarrhea. Magnesium is a muscle mineral but may not be the best source for cramps. Rather replace electrolytes naturally. Lastly, the mineral spray for sore muscles can be a good sources after workouts, or in my case, the old back acting up. Make sure to consult with your HCP. 🥬🫑🥒🥦
