Since before Covid, research has been limited in plants, suffice it to be even more so with this latest virus. I have read several articles, not the .com sites but legit research sites that give some helpful information. My knowledge of plants and the human body would agree with most of what I’m reading. Elderberry would seem to be most effective with the flu less so with a cold. Vitamin C works best with colds. Yes, elderberry has components of vitamin C but vitamins as supplements and plants do vary. As for Covid, if you have mild symptoms, elderberry appears to offer some benefit. Taking before getting Covid, is not showing to stop the virus. The more intense symptoms, would be contraindicated to Elderberry use. I am attaching one site I found. I liked this due to the whole system approach. Nutrition, rest, positivity, breathing, prayer/meditation. Give me a shout out if you want me to approach a specific topic! Be blessed!
