Blood flow. Vital to health. These are suggestions I use and others have tried and found to be beneficial. Hydration! Water. Not tea. Not coffee. Not juice. WATER! Blood is about half water so drink. Recommended is half the body weight in ounces. Walk. No need for aerobics. Just walk. Talk to your dr first to get advice. Lie down with your back on the floor, buttocks against the wall, feet and legs straight up. Do this for 10-15minutes a day. Eat fresh fruits and veggies, especially the purples, reds, and blues! These are your antioxidants and have been shown to assist in cleaning the blood. If you do not take anti-coagulants, green foods and herbals are also a great way to clean the blood. Twisting. Yes, hula hooping, turning side to side while standing, moving from the waist can improve circulation and “whittle” the waistline! A smaller waist has been shown to help with heart disease. So, again, seek medical advice if you have questions and here’s to improved healthy blood!
