Candida continued

There are over 200 types of Candida. Only 8 can infect the human body. The recent “outbreak” of Candida Auris has the medical field up in arms because it is found in hospital settings. Candida albicans is found in gut flora. There is vaccines on the market that are being touted helpful to the auris fungi. Symptoms of Candida can be a list long enough to fill a book. Rashes, itching, sores, thrush, inflammation, draining, discharge, and on and on. The causes are numerous. My next blog post will cover more of this fungi and other helpful information.
