Amla, also known as Triphala or Gooseberry, has been used for hundreds of years in India cultures. I learned about it a month ago and researched it. My research found historical uses of it for pancreas, blood sugar and weight loss and current studies healing for pancreatitis. Diabetes runs in my family and I’ve been conscious for years about carbs/sugars for my own health reasons. I also come from generations of women who carry belly fat. So, I thought, I’ll try this herbal food. One week into it, taking 2 a day, I’ve lost 3 pounds. Nothing new, just that. I walk, I do physical activities to maintain endurance and strength. I eat consciously. I rest. I hydrate. I pray/meditate. The only new thing was this plant. I’m not saying it’s a miracle or weight loss item. I’m saying, plants feed, support, and balance. I am thankful for them. Any herbal products should be screened through your HCP. ❤️
