What heals the gut?

After the radiation fallout in Chernoble in the 80’s research and news reports showed people who survived lived on kraut. The latest and greatest come back regarding healing the body nutritionally, is in cultured foods. Kimchee, kraut, kefir, kombucha, all introduce good bacteria back into the gut! The body can fight cellularly and thrive with these amazing foods. I eat them every day, several times a day. I had a hiatal hernia (protruding between the muscles above my belly button). I did Pilates for two years and healed the hernia. My belly then needed internal balance. That came from cultured food. I have come full circle with my life style and benefit from the changes I live. I expect my dietary experiences will always be evolving. The thing that won’t change is the intake of fresh produce and the love I have for them!
