Let me begin by stating, this topic hits very close to home for me. I had an uncle that was diagnosed with schizophrenia and now my oldest son. The "old school" thought processes would say, "Ahhh, genetics." My youngest son, a 100% disabled Vet is dealing with PTSD and Bipolar. So, for me, this would be a very difficult topic. Except that, I have been through many educational, situational and emotional circumstances to come out on the side of understanding and embracing the latest research with a heart felt thankfulness!

Neuroscience has been researching these topics for the past 20 years. One neuroscientist, Caroline Leaf, stands out in her field. I must say, the research and facts she and her peers present, give me hope! You would not think so, and when I explain it, I imagine it will either free some and/or anger some.

Their findings, are scientifically and medically supported by solid research. Neither mental "disease" nor addiction is a Sickness. They are a Choice! WOW! Let that sink in...are you angry? Are you stunned and hopeful? The plain and simple facts are that each individual has the FREE-WILL CHOICE to be mentally well and addiction free!

If we want a "crutch", then this will anger us. If we want potential, this will free us and our loved ones! We each have a choice every day to make towards our spirit, mind and body! I truly hope you are excited by this news.
